Founder/Lead Therapist
Seedling Paediatric Therapy is founded by Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) , Carolyn Jarrett.
Carolyn is committed to providing a holistic approach to Early Intervention for babies, children and their parents and has established skills in Paediatric Occupational Therapy and Parent Support. Carolyn has over a decade of experience in Early Child Development, through a range of senior roles with SA Health, including Disability Services, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services and Child Health & Development teams. Carolyn specialises in relational approaches to therapy, and works in partnership with parents, clinicians and educators to support little ones meet their developmental goals. Carolyn can work with babies and children presenting with challenges with:
Sleep, feeding & settling.
Sensory processing and emotional regulation.
Play, communication & social skills.
Gross & fine motor skills,
Self-care (dressing, toileting, feeding)
Transitions to new routines and environment - child-care/kindergarten and school transitions.
Strengthening parent/child relationships and well-being; with a focus on co-regulation.
Workshops
Carolyn is a local Adelaide Hills mum, who brings her passion for nature and the arts into her practise. She has lived and worked in the Stirling region for 15years, and offers seasonal workshops to support Parents and Professionals develop skills in Sensory Modulation through Therapeutic Arts practise.
